New President for 2022-23

We’re delighted to welcome new President Robin Comerford to succeed President Simon Marshall this week. President Simon Marshall having steered the Club through two eventful years including the height of the COVID pandemic.

Robin has lived in Linslade for 35 years and has a great affinity for Leighton Linslade. He is keen to carry on the traditions of Rotary and looks forward to his Presidential year of fundraising and community action.

Robin said:

It is a great honour to become President and I’m keen to build on the rich heritage of the Club and the causes it supports. I’m especially grateful to the people of the town for their amazing generosity over the years. The funds we raise for the local community are considerable and I am passionate that we continue to support worthy causes in the local area. I’m very concerned that the continuing cost of living increases are going to cause hardship for the vulnerable members of the town, and we are working with local organisations to provide as much support as possible. I also want to do what I can to ensure the healthy future of Leighton Linslade Rotary Club through developing new membership.
