Santa Gets Super Send-off

Santa received a supper send off , before his worldwide tour, at Carols in the High St on Christmas Eve in Leighton Buzzard.

The long held tradition of singing carols in the town centre was revived this year after being interrupted by COVID and hundreds of Leighton Linslade residents joined Rotary and the Salvation Army in a tremendous outpouring of community spirit.

One resident said:

Thank you, totally enjoyed being back in the High Street “trying” to sing Christmas Carols with my daughter!

Rotary President Robin thanked the Salvation Army & Pierce Transport for helping with the revival and the crowd for their continuing generosity and support in these difficult times before the whole crowd joined in waving Santa off on his worldwide tour after spending the whole of December touring the streets of the town.
