Defib Launch

Leighton Linslade Rotary launched their Defibrillator campaign last week. The launch took place outside the British Heart Foundation shop in Waterborne Walk. The launch was attended by

• The Mayor, Cllr David Bligh
• Hayley Chambers who is the Assistant Manager of the Leighton British Heart Foundation shop
• John Saberton from the UK Resuscitation Council.

Chris Roberts, Rotary Club President said:

It was great to launch our Neighbourhood Defibrillator Scheme last month. I’m really looking forward now to welcoming people to our Discovery Evenings and explaining how we can help improve the chances of saving the lives of their loved ones and neighbours. It’s all about knowing how to use CPR and having an accessible defibrillator close to your home!
