Crowds flock to Rotary May Day Fayre

The crowds were bigger than ever at the Rotary Club of Leighton Linslade May Day Fayre which traditionally welcomes in summer for the local community.

This years Fayre delivered in partnership with Leighton Linslade Town Council and this year supported by Everyone Active the new leisure centre operators had something for the whole community.

With attractions varying from Dangerous Steve and Infinite Cheerleaders in the arena to May Pole Dancing and Leanne Theatre School in the High St there was truly a generational mix of entertainment and of course over sixty assorted stalls promoting business and charities.

Rotary spokesman Richard Johnson OBE said:

Whilst the sun didn’t shine there was a fantastic atmosphere at this years Fayre and in Rotary we are so grateful to the local community for their continued support. We also wish to record our thanks to all the organisations who continue to support us, particularly our long standing partners in May Fayre, Leighton Linslade Town Council and this year for the first time Everyone Active the operators of the areas new leisure centre
